Show THE CHURCH REVIEW. <br><br> Epworth League Dep't. <br><br> The Chautauqua College <br> Has had a fine beginning. There were twenty-two enrolled as readers, on last Monday evening. Another meeting will be held in the First M. E. church parlors on next Monday evening. This delightful "Reading Course" for the winter months is open to everybody. Arrangements have been made by which the books can be purchased, one at a time is needed, at Parsons' book store. The C. L. S. C. is the most popular literary movement ever inaugurated. This is "American Year" and the readings will be very interesting and instructive. Next Monday night will be "American Night" with patriotic songs and addresses. It is urgently requested that the pastors of all our churches will make strong announcements of this Monday night meeting and urge all who possibly can to attend and become Chautauqua Readers. Scores of young men and young women ought to avail themselves of this splendid opportunity of widening their |
