Show 10 <br> THE CHURCH REVIEW. <br><br> Y. M. C. A. News <br> Salt Lake City. <br><br> Retiring President. <br> Hon. Frank Pierce was President "In deed and in truth." His term of office extended over three years that night will be called a crucial period in the history of the Association. With the financial difficulties, several changes in the secretaryship and moving the quarters it has been very hard to hold the interest of members and friends. Mr. Pierce stood at the helm until the Association weathered the worst of the financial storm. Members were encouraged by his active interest and by his presence at the Sunday meetings in which he was always ready to take part. In fact Mr. Pierce is an all round Association man, and but for his great faith, his deep interest in the work and his careful guiding and restraining hand we believe that our association must have joined with sister Western Associations in suspending work until times became more favorable.
