Description The Western Federation of Watercolor Societies is a collective partnership amongst several Watercolor Societies in the Western United States. Every year this federation sponsors an annual juried exhibition of collage and water-based media. The twenty-second annual watercolor exhibition was hosted by the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild at the Tucson Museum of Art. The juror was Jim Kosvanec. The Best of Show award winner was Travelers 2 by Dee Wescott, a member of the New Mexico Watercolor Society. The David Dale Memorial award winner was Mexico Tipico II by Don Burt, a member of the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild. The president of the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild was Joan Shaw, 1997-1998.
