Image of Crazy Doll quilt created in 1884 by Mary Smith Thornley. Also includes questionnaires describing the quilt completed by Bonnie T. Larsen as part of the Utah Quilt Guild's documentation days held from 1988-1994. My Grandmothers was a small woman of English descent. She was very dextrous. her sisters told me many times that she did all the fancy stitches herself as well as piecing the quit together herself. |
