Image of Tied Wool quilt created in 1940-1850 by Margaret Fortie Trimble. Also includes questionnaires describing the quilt completed by CJ Trimble as part of the Utah Quilt Guild's documentation days held from 1988-1994. Margaret was widowed at 40 with 5 sons. her in laws Edward & Elizabeth Trimble were tailors. This quilt is made of old suit fabrics and was made out of necessity. |
