Show CECIL THOMPSON #1 bit southeast, and you can see it. JD: Did they have to state what kind of payroll they were going to have, or how many people they' re going to employ? CT: No. No. They--well, I'd say in the case of, say, ---?--- now, as an example. There's a lot of things that are known before they get to the point of plan sight. They've already drilled and they've already determined the values of the deposit, the grades, and gone through a pilot plant stage to see how the process is going to work and all those things. And then all at once they say, "Well, we've got an operation here, but we need a plant site." So it's already determine at that time that they're going to employ maybe a hundred men or five hundred men, so it's not a guessing game. It's a sure thing at that point. SG: Do you think there is much politics involved in the board itself, or do you think it's pretty much a stable organization? CT: No, I've been on a lot of boards, and I think this is about the freest board for me. I don't even know who's a Republican or a Democrat on the board. They don't pay any attention to politics. It's one of the few boards that I've been on that--I don't think that 40 |
