Show CALVI WARDROP B R 2 2 2 Navy at home and so we met over there and I said Do y u want t ha thr -minut r und and a minute rest, like they normally do.' He said No. When you can't tand up any l ng r it will be over (laughs)." So, anyway, we went after it and I got him in a corn rand I g tin a g d left hook and hit him in the mouth and that was the end of the fight. He started blubb ring and his lips were-anyway, he was damaged. And he left with his friend and went to see the doctor at sickbay and the next day everybody was congratulating me. So that was one of my famous incidents. That's enough. BBL: Nobody made fun of you drinking milk after that, I guess. CAL: They used to say, "Are you going out on a milkshake drunk this weekend" (laughs). So, anyway, I wore those kind of hexagon glasses that didn't have rims-that was kind of the style at that time-and I guess they thought I was kind of a goody-two-shoe kind of guy that didn't know anything about athletics. BBL: CAL: END OF SIDE A BBL: DOR: anniversary. CAL: BBL: DOR: CAL: Oh, the glasses were deceiving. Yes, they thought I looked like an egghead or something. That was that. We're back in business. Anyway, we weren't planning to do anything special for our fiftieth It was just my wife and I. Oh, the two of you went for your anniversary. Here we are in Mazatlan. And the doorbell rings to our condo andIt was a knock, knock, knock. 21 |
