Show THE CHURCH REVIEW. <br><br> FIRST BAPTIST. <br> There will be baptisms at the service this evening. <br> The worth and feasibility and importance of prohibition as a means of dealing with the drink curse was ably set forth by the brethren who spoke last Sunday evening. This meeting was a forerunner of many which are now being projected here in the interest of temperance reform. <br> Minnie Haskinson, who was among the brightest of the little ones in our Rio Grande Sunday school was convalescent from scarlet fever but she was suddenly attacked with heart failure last week from which she could not rally. The sorrowing parents have the deep sympathy of their many friends. <br> Mrs. Arnold, our sister who has been sick so long, is very poorly. Let us remember her in our prayers. <br> The Kindergarten is constantly growing. Miss Eyles finds Miss Clara Berkley and Miss Bertha Mains very valuable assistants in this interesting work. <br> The pastor was able to be at the Burlingt |
