Show 12
THE CHURCH REVIEW.

In the last issue of THE CHURCH REVIEW I fell upon the following item:
Our evangelistic work at the fort is done for the time being, as they have a chaplain now. This work has been very pleasant and very much appreciated by the Christian soldiers. We almost regret that there is no longer any need of it.
I read this with keen interest, and was both glad and sorry. Glad that the good ladies were interested in the soldiers work, and sorry they hade dropped their efforts because a chaplain had been assigned to the Post. Let me say to these women-do not slack your efforts-push ahead, there is room and work enough for us all and I will with greatest pleasure back your labor. Give us your help in this good work of temperance and morality. Very cordially,
D. R. LOWELL
Post Chaplain, Fort Douglas Utah.

The Ohio Liquor Dealers' Association at its last annual meeting declared "that it had no enemy to fear but the W. C. |
