That money has never been stolen> and when I receive it it i3 good. When we re-oeiva this money in our hands we feel good in our hearts. All the members of the White River band of Indians feel the same way. By doing that,- giving the Indians money, the Government has the White River Indians for children. A long time ago tha aganoy office was looated down h9r9 a little ways in the old building, and somehow or other they kioked that offioe away, and 9ver sinoe it has been that way,- since they kioked the old offioe away, I have not said anything. My money since that offioe has oeen thrown away, has also been lost. That money was onoe mine the and was nut in ajc hands of the Government by some former Chief. Now these land3 do not belong to me. This land does not belong to me but I am staying on it any way, but I am waiting for that money whioh was put in the hand3 of the Government. There 13 another |
