Image of Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt created in 1725 by an unnamed quilter. Also includes questionnaires describing the quilt completed by Jared Harris as part of the Utah Quilt Guild's documentation days held from 1988-1994. The quilt is all silk. It crossed the Atlantic Ocean via ship circa 1750. The family worked on the quilt until 1925 when they ran out of "her" silk and "her" templates. |
