Show earnest, conscientious and faithful Christian man, very highly respected by the entire college for his worth of character. While modest and not talkative - he reminds me much of you in this and some other respects - yet he is not lacking in social qualities. How he would succeed in maintaing dormitory discipline I could not predict confidently, but do not know why he would not do well. Though not large, (he is but a little taller than myself) he has considerable natural dignity and, I believe, good judgment. <br><br> His rather limited amount of work in science is offset by rather full courses in history, economics and English, (^ is also a good Latin scholar, could teach geometry) If you can use a man with his equipment, I should be disposed to recommend him to you strongly.
