Sweazey,
Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dear Sir:

I beg to offer you the papers of Mr. Harry Rawdon of Marlette, Mich., who has made application at my suggestion for the vacancy in your school. He is a graduate of the Michigan State Normal College at Ypsilanti, four years course, 1903. Since that time he has been principal of the high school at Marlette, Mich. His salary this year has reached the enormous figure of $500. Before going further let me say that I appreciate Mr. Rawdon is not a University graduate. The State Normal College, however, is a thoroughly reliable school and one which is a credit to the state. A graduate of the Normal School can graduate from the University of Michigan in two years and by doing some extra work he can perhaps get through in one year, but this is not common.

I believe that Mr. Rawdon would be able to do your work, excepting the work in Greek, probably, to better advantage than many full college graduates.

Yours truly,

B.F.
