The dark navy blue background represents Utah's connection with the United States. Note that there are 29 stars that make up the Utah shape- this is the number of counties in Utah. The stars are yellow to represent Utah's beehive state heritage. The mountain ranges are a prominent part of Utah life, but I included two mountain ranges around the state shape to emphasize the connectivity and unity that the Utah mountains embody. |
