Show i MEMBERS HOUSING INFORMATION AND REGULATIONS lo There is a furniture deposit equal to two months rent. This may be paid over the first four months and is returnable at the end of tenancy if there has been no damage beyond normal wear. There is a deposit of $5.00 for apartment keys which is refunded at the end of tenancy, if the keys are all returned. 2. All of our apartments are furnished with all basic furniture except for china* silverware, kitchen utensils, linens and blankets. We keep on hand a limited supply of these housekeeping items for families coming from abroad so they need not ship bulk items. As we wrote in a previous letter, linens and blankets can be rented locally* There is a cash deposit o3 #25<?00 for housekeeping items* returnable at the end of tenancy* 3* All of the apartments are completely furnished. Members are, therefore* requested not to bring their own furniture. There is a central laundry with automatic washers and driers. Please do not bring washing machines. There is no room in the apartments for them and clothes lines are not permitted. Exchange of furniture with other tenants is not permitted. h* Pianos and other musical instruments can be rented in Princeton or you may bring your-own. 5. You may bring air conditioners operating on a maximum of 120 voltage» 6. We keep several vacuum cleaners and floor waxers on hand which you may borrow from the storeroom if they are returned promptly as they are for the use of all families* Many families prefer to bring their own. 7. All of the apartments have standard curtains. Please do not substitute your own. 8. An outlet and conduit is furnished for the installation of TV antenna. Air conditioner and television installation are made by service men from town. Our maintenance men are not permitted to make these installations. 9. The keeping of pets, particularly large dogs is discouraged. The keeping of pets which display any vicious tendencies is forbidden© 10. Please report damage to buildings or f urniture to the maintenance department as soon as possible. 11. Pictures and wall decorations should be hung with standard picture nails. Do not use scotch-tape, as it removes the paint from the wall. 12. There is limited storage space in the basement of the maintenance building where trunks and luggage can be stored at your own risk. |
