W I L L A R D M A R R I O T T , Chairman of the Board, Marriott Corporation, is the founder of a diversified company which includes one of the nation's largest restaurant chains, a Motor Hotel Division and Airline Catering Division. In addition, he is a member of the boards of five major corporations and several trade associations. He was appointed by President Nixon to serve as Chairman of the 1969 Inaugural Committee. He is a Director of the National Symphony, a member of the District of Columbia Federal City Council, and chairman of many charitable fund drives. He was born in Marriott, Utah, received a B. A. degree from the University of Utah in 1926 and an honorary Doctor of Laws degree in 1966. |
