Description Presenting Symptom: Loss of vision OS. Pathology: Optic disk pallor. Clinical: The patient was a 47-year old female who, eight months previously, experienced a sudden loss of the vision in the left eye presumably from occlusion of the retinal or neural arteries. The ophthalmoscope now revealed complete pallor of the nerve head and mild attenuation of the retinal arteries. Disease/ Diagnosis: Retinal artery occlusion
