Image of Monkey Wrench quilt created in 1840-1850 by unknown quilter. Also includes questionnaires describing the quilt completed by Kathy Waters as part of the Utah Quilt Guild's documentation days held from 1988-1994. A young, single mother, who was traveling thru (from out of State) Utah, and was homeless sold this quilt top to the antique shop for money to feed her family. She told the shop owner that (quilt tops) they had been made by her grandmother. |
