Description Presenting Symptom: Loss of vision OS. Pathology: Temporal artery inflammation. Clinical: The patient was a 77-year old female with a 3-day history of difficulty chewing, malaise, hyperesthesia of scalp associated with a loss of vision in the left eye of a day's duration. The sedimentation rate was 38 and the hematocrit 35%. Temporal artery biopsy revealed giant-cell arteritis. Disease/ Diagnosis: Giant cell arteritis
