1. A one-page typed letter from Albert Ray Olpin, President of the University of Utah, to Dr. Aziz S. Atiya at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, dated June 20, 1956. In the letter, Olpin mentions the several favorable comments he has received regarding Dr. Atiya's commencement address at the University of Utah. Dr. Olpin includes some clippings from the Salt Lake Tribune and the Deseret New and Telegram (newspapers) which mention Dr. Atiya commencement address and his speech to the Salt Lake Rotary Club. The last paragraph of the letter is a query and invitation to Dr. Atiya to provide a series of lectures or courses at the University of Utah, possibly during the summer or fall of 1957. 2. A one-page typed letter from Albert Ray Olpin to Dr. Atiya at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, dated July 14, 1956.
