Show s'.'Shio Ali Zamouri, Iklk East 59th Street, Chicago, Illinois. 60637. September 10, 1965. Miss Marion Sheets, Librarian, Middle East Center, University of Uthah, Salt Lake City, Utah. Dear Miss Sheets, I am a Tunisian graduate student at the University of Chicago. For the past three years I have been enrolled in the University's Graduate Library School. I have completed my course work, and I have also passed the comprehensive examination for the master's degree. In addition to my program of studies, I have, for the past three years, been employed in the University of Chicago Library Catalog Department, where I have served as cataloger for Arabic material. I am currently at work on my thesis, and upon its completion, I am very much interested in obtaining a library position. Since your institution is receiving Arabic publications on PL 480, I am writing to inquire if there is a position open in your library for which I might qualify, in view of my training and experience. If such a position is available, or soon will be, you might write to the University of Chicago Graduate Library School for any credentials that you deem necessary. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely yours, M-- 'CV»v"k^>v. vv." Ali Zamouri. |
