I will definitely be out in the spring and I have just finished a major monograph on the richest illus^- txated Greek manuscript, the Sacra Parallela of John of Damascus in Paris. The rest of my time is taken up with the preparation of the planned exhibition of Late Classical and Early Christian Art, to which, it might please you to hear, the Cairo museums-the Egyptian and the Coptic-are contributing. With my very best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to both of you and the children, in which Josepha joins me, I am Yours as ever, Kurt Weitzmann KW:lh |
