Description |
This is an important study that helps further define a role for carotid stenting as a therapeutic option for atherosclerotic carotid disease. There is a need for a larger-scale multi-centered trial with increased numbers patients and longer follow-up to identify appropriate patients for either endarterectomy or stenting. |
