Two page typed letter, dated September 3, 1953, from Wendell Phillips to Robert G. Sproul, president of the University of California, Berkeley. In it he discusses his work in Arabia, and mentions that he has been granted an oil concession for some 30.000 square miles, which he has assigned to Cities Service Oil Company and Richfield Oil Corporation of California. He also recommends Aziz Atiya to the appointment of an "important post," which apparently had been referred to in another letter |
