Description "The background is made up of large blue rectangles, the blue, of course representing loyalty and wisdom. There is a cross in the background, a religious symbol of transformation with the colors white and red. The white symbolizes peace and cleanliness. The red represents courage and religious fervor. These two colors making up the cross are very fitting; both are religious colors, and the transformation of the new flag is very appropriate. The seal on this design is a circle on the point where the beams of the cross. The circle is black, symbolizing power and sophistication. Both the symbol on the seal and the border around the seal are gold representing love and wisdom. The border around the seal is to make the seal pop. The circle itself represents unity and eternity. The symbol on the seal is a stylized seagull. The seagull is the official bird of Utah, a fitting symbol. All the shapes, colors, and symbols combined make a solid design for a new flag."
