Description The Superintendent of the Uintah Ouray Agency describes his interview with Chipeta conducted on the orders of the Commissioner of Indian Affairs. Chipeta explains that she does not resent the American government despite the fact that her tribe was not granted the housing and resources it was promised after they were persuaded to move from Colorado to Utah. The superintendent attests to the accuracy of Chipeta's statements and lobbies the Commissioner to provide more water for the Ute allotments
