Show the full size maps are available from the Division of Water Resources. A hydrologic report of this same Uinta study unit has been prepared by the Utah State University in cooperation with the Division of Water Resources ( Hydrologic Inventory of the Uinta Study Unit, March, 1970)„ Since the hydro- logic report uses the 6ame land use data herein reported on, the following correlation of subareas is presented: UINTA LAND USE SUB- AREAS Upper Green River Dry Fork Vernal Jensen Green River " A" Upper Duchesne River Currant Creek Strawberry River Lower Duchesne and Lake Fork Uinta West Green River " B" East Green River " B" CORRESPONDING UINTA HYDROLOGIC INVENTORY SUB- AREAS 7- 1- 13, 7- 1- 14, 7- 1- 16 Part of 7- 2- 4 Part of 7- 2- 4; 7- 2- 5 7- 2- 7; part of 7- 4- 1 Part of 7- 4- 1 7- 3- 7 through 7- 3- 12 7- 3- 3 through 7- 3- 5 7- 3- 1, 7- 3- 2, 7- 3- 6 7- 3- 13 through 7- 3- 20 7- 4- 3, 7- 4- 8 7- 4- 6 The collection of water- related land use data within the Uinta Basin Drainage Area ( known also as Uinta Hydrologic Area) was conducted primarily by the division of Water Resources. However, in the western part of the Uintah sub- area, the land use data was collected by the Utah State Division of Water Rights. Field data has been collected and tabulated, checked, and summarized for use in the Hydrologic Study of the area. This report contains the detailed maps and tables which show the results of the field survey. The selected maps showing other water- related features are not originals but were reproduced wholly or in part from other sources. Classification Index A visual alpha- numeric code was used to label the photos and indicate the type of water- related land use which existed in the field. The maps included in this report have been labeled with the same code used on the photographso For example: Corn is labeled A01; a dense stand of graase- wood is labeled 5D; and a light stand of willows is labeled 3L, according to the Water Resources code. Since the Division of Water Resources and the Division of Water Rights used different codes, both have been included in the following table: |
