| Description | Salt Lake County General Hospital, March 2, 1948. Located at 2100 South and State Street, the building was originally constructed and occupied as the County Infirmary Hospital 1912. In 1921 a new infirmary building was built which became the Salt Lake County General Hospital. The county hospital served as the clinical facility for the medical school from 1944 until 1965 when the University of Utah Medical Center was opened. |
