Show UTAH, QUEEN OF THE WEST You're north of Arizona, the great Grand Canyon state, East of old Nevada where the gamblin' tables wait. You border Wyoming where the bronco riders go, Just west of Colorado, southeast of Idaho. Yes, I was born in Utah, the Queen of all the West, She harbors Nature's greatest wonders and her scenery is the best. The Lord made Zion's Canyon with loving hand and care, And you gaze in awe and wonder, you can picture fairies there. The land of many colors where the Mormon temple stands, Where the tourists spend their winters and the good Lord favors man. You can travel this world over if you're lookin' for the best, You'll head right back to Utah, the Queen of all the West. Melvin L. "Meb" Whipple |
