What I told him was that I wanted him to send me a statement every week of his cash receipts & his expenses. I also said I should insist on his writing a letter home every Sunday so as to learn how to write a letter, & I would be glad if one of the teachers would see that he does so & that he writes it correctly.

Yours truly

S.
