Show 1\vo levels of total fuel input (700,1400 kW) were used and the burner pitch(distance between two burner centers) was varied. Visual observation has shown no interference of flames in the conditions tested. In Fig. 11, the effect of the burner pitch on NOx level has been shown. Little effect of the burner pitch on NOx level has been observed. Due to the very high velocity of th~ combustion air and gas, interference of the flame seems less likely to occurred and substantial change in NOx level has not been expected.
