Show -163- who would organize them and assign them to their section of the Tabernacle . The Elders who were able to attend were asked to report to E . W. Dav is , J. E. Malin, orR. H. Haslam, the Committee on Elders Quorums who would organize them and take them to their appropriate places. The Seventies of the Church who could attend and furnish carriages were requested so to do and a plac e was assgned to them in t he procession to the cemetery. Joseph Young, Sr, and Horace S. Eldridge, in behalf of the First Council of Seventy were in charge of this group. All the officers and interest members of the 'IYMMIA were requested to meet in the Council House on the southwest c orner of Main and South Temple Streets on the ·evening of July 30, 1879, for the purpose of making arrangements to attend the funeral of their respected and valia nt fellow-laborer in the Mutual Improvement Association. A committee consisting of Elias Smith, E. Snellgrove , and Elias Morris was appointed to assist the High Priests of the Church in being properly located in the section as signed to that body of the Priesthood.
