At 6 :10 p .m. left over the M. and c. Ry . for Florence , A labama ~ to pay the Elders laboring in West Tenn . a visit ~ May 28 . · rrived a t Florence at 4 a .m. and met Elder A. J . McCuistion . ccompani ed . him to Wr . Franklyns ~nd had breakfast . AftB~ w~ went by way of hbrse and buggy and St . Florine to Cowperes Creek . Had dinner at 110m :M cMurtrys and in the even,ing walked up to brother Thomas Gilberts , where we met Elders Petersen and Karkham . Spent t he night there . Elders Hart and Stanger came to us t his a .m. early . A hard lot of citizens live in t his sect ion May 31 Bid t he b ret h re~ and saints goodbye at 8 a .m. and started for Florence g oing by way of Mars Hill to see Prof .
