Show - 30 - AU&!USt 27 At 8 q . rn. a wagon l 0ad of us started to meeting five miles d istant . Rained . Held two po0rly attended meetings , an indiffe rept spirit manifested all around . Returned to brother Hawkins i n t he even ing and stayed all night . August 28 Rode and walked to ~v. ur f reesboro and by r ail to Nashville . Wrote some letters ,and attended to business • . Augus t 29 Left on the 7 :50 train. f or Louisville and had an i nterview with Mr • .At ore .about R. R. ' rates . Attended the Buc kingham at n ight and saw ~ some pecul:iar freaks in mesmerism. August 30 At 1 ~ : 30 a .m. took train for Bowling Green, Ky . where I met Elder Sn0 ~ and in company we went down Barren and '1reen Rivers on a boat to ochester." Arrived at 7 : 30, were met by J:!.;lders Jp i gler and Paul , El der Kelch having joined us at Cr omwell , toge ther we went to G. Hunts and stayed all night . August 31 Started at 9 a .m. and walked out to Wm. Hunts for dinner , t hen to Dr . Hunt s to stay all night . Found t he saints and friends feeling well . September 1 , 1882 'Ivalked over to brother l:Tourses with El der Bi gler thi s a . m. and f ound all well . Assisted in··preparing a place in the shade t o ho l d Confer ence . St ayed with them all n ight . Se ptemuer 2 The Elders met with t he sa ints and fr iends at 10 a .m. in Conference , a good f eeling prev~iling .
