His ability to combine elem~nts of traditional, classical and jazz guitar forms gives him a unique . voice among instrumental guitarists. His approach to an audience is not to amaze with technical fireworks, but to ~aptivate with a whole musical 'Concept. "In performance, whether live or in recording, the job at hand is to touch peopl~ emotionally and move them in ·a positive way," Gulezian said. "I believe _ a performer must be as transparent as possible. You'~e got to kill>-yo~ ego, in a sense, and let the music do the work. When that happens, you're not the source of music, it's out there-and it's coming through you."
