Stewart: Doctor Adson has asked me to write to you in reply to your letter asking for a statement to the insurance company regarding your illness. I note that you wish to have stated in the letter that your illness dated back only three years. However, in reviewing your history, I find that you stated that the pains in your back and leg dated from 1934, at which time you had an in-jury. I discussed this with Doctor Adson, and he feels that we cannot omit any part of the history in a letter to the insurance company and therefore thought you should be notified of this before we wrote any such letter. We can, and will be very glad to, give the full facts to the insurance company, as you stated them at the time of your examination, but Doctor Adson and I feel that no details can or should be omitted. If you wish us to write such a letter, will you please let me know, and I shall be very glad to do so. Yours very truly, ~-Kt~ E. K. Kloos, M. D. EKK:LS |
