When our office in Cairo asked us to send you some books, the only name they gave me was Dr* Soryal (so spelled)j but at that time Datus Smith was abroad, and now on his return he tells me that in this country you undoubtedly use your last name, and my letters and the one shipment (in November) which I sent may never have reached you0 I am enclosing a copy of my letter to you of December 21, In which I say a second shipment of Franklin Arabic books is on the way to you. But Mr* Smith felt that we should hold this up until we are quite sure how the package should be addressed* In addition to the matter of which name to use, there is also the question of whether "University of Utah, Salt Lake City" is enough in the way of a street address. To make it easier for you to respond, I am enclosing a postcard, stamped for airmail.
