Description Bioassay-guided fractionation of the methanolic extract of the young leaves of Bonamia trichantha led to the isolation of four new cinnamic acid derivatives trichanthins A-D (l-4).Their structures were established by spectroscopic methods. All compounds were tested in cytotoxic assays against the MCF-7, H-460 and SF-268 human cancer cell lines.
