Description Typescript of a biographical sketch of Isabelle Wade Allred, from an interview. She was born in London, England, in 1861, and her family came to the United States in 1866. Her father worked on the transcontinental railroad in Nebraska and experienced conflict with the Plains Indians, then brought the family to Utah in 1868, settling at Fillmore, Millard County, and later at Slaterville, Weber County. Typed by Elvera Manful of Ogden in 1940
