Many of the back numbers are still available on request) • • * • • • • • • • In our issue of two munbers' ago, we told about Father Scott of Saint Christopher's Mission celebrating with us the 59th anniversary of Father Liebler's ordination to the priesthood, and we closed with his prophecy. "Next year it will be a real hWll-dingerl" Well. hums are already beginning to ding. Our Bishop, in a recent letter to all the clergy of the Episcopal Church in utah, called attention to the program. We quote him: " ••• Father Liebler's celebration, October 3/4 ••• the schedule is Mass and supper at Oljeto the evening of October 3rd (5: 30 p.m.). The morning of the fourth (the actual date of the ordination) we will gather again for Eucharist ••• " We at HRVRC hope that not only the utah clergy but those of other States will be here, those desiring to con-celebrate are asked to bring their own eucharistic vestments, including at least a stole (Wi te), if unable to pack a chasuble. We have some extras, but not enough (we hope) for all the priests attending. It would take almost the entire Message to tell of all the Visitors we have had this summer. but we cannot help mentioning the visit of Father ArthUr Cooper, of the Society of st John the Evangelist (in England) and some of his family. He is pictured above with Fr. Liebler and three of our fair parishioners. Also, we must mention the two work-groups, one from Alhambra, CA and one from ' Santa Barbara (All SS.), CA. Br Juniper tells something of their accomplishments in this issue. BROTHER JUNIPER HAS THIS TO SAY "Base Station KGW 7231 on Channel 11 calling all our friends who have sent us Betty Crocker coupons for our Citizens Band transceivers! We want to thank you all very much for your generous and, in many ,cases, sacrificial, response to our requests for these valuable coupons." And now, as Channel 9 ,is the one that is used to call for help, we'll now switch to that channel, because, as of August 28th, we still need about 16,000 points to finish the project. General |
