Now we come to our friends and helpers I for the first time since our News letter of Christmas, I \ and we extend t o them all our belated but che.ery Easter Greetings. /\/'.', .... ) THE BIGGEST piece of front-page news is the acquisition of two acres bf land at the mouth of Montezuma Creek~ If you have our leaflet "A VOICE IN THE DESEHT " , consult the map therein--or see the maps in some of our old Newsletters, and you will see that M onte~uma Creek , like st Christopher 's, is on the edge or the Navajo Reservation, and lies about 20 miles Eas t of the Mission ~ There dw~lls the Chief Whitehorse , who in 194"1 visited us with a score or [;1ore of his family, and requested that we come and have prayers at his place,' Thither we went that srulle s u:rmnor, ahorseback and w:Lthout a guide--i't took us two days to find t he place~ There we sang Uas sj and held instructions; again later with the Jeep , and a gain when the Bishop was with us and the quicksands all but swallowed us up .
