So bids were received. The land waa advertised for a second period of two months, bids to be received on September 1st, 1315. So bids were received on that date. Tho 7 land was appraised at $10.00 an acre, the lowest figure at which purchasers could havo obtained it at either of tha advertised salas, Many prospective purchasers viewed the tract, but all refused to buy _t. On September 22, 1315, it was shown to 3. F. fltop, TOO ST finally agreed to purchase it at tho appraised valuation. His proposition was tho first and only one received. It waa accepted by iiajer Kneala. The terms of tho SRIO were submitted to the Indian heira and received their approval. It then waa submitted to tha Indian Office cn November 1, 1315.
