Denver, Colorado, October 31, 1927, Sir: Having; just completed an inspection of the Uintah and Ouray Reservation in northeastern Utah, I desire to submit tha following observations: The 1,175 Indians who live within this jurisdiction are the three bands of Abraham Utes. They numbered, June 30 last, a.s follows: White Rivers, 245; Uintas, 409 and Uncompahgre, 452.
