Decide on who you think those six men should be and then who you think the two should be and then v/e can get organized and'get the machinery in motion. We want to get things going before Coiigress con­venes again so that v/e can get a bill before the courts and present our claims. I v/ant to ask the people to give this matter serious consideration and select men to come down herar who will give the matter their best efforts and who v/ill select two mon who you will all be proud of. This means a lot to the people of this reservation because the way we have been working wo havo not been getting any results at all. Through this other soua-ce v/e cannot do any worse and it is my opinion we can do a lot moro. I see a disposition or at least an in­clination to talk of personal matters. A good many of you are a long way from home and it is getting la to. If v/e want to prefer charges against anyone v/e v/ill do so by the Business Committee. The best place to discuss individual matters is in my office. I believe this is all I want to discuss with the people thio afternoon. I want all of you people to make every effort possible to plant your crops and properly attend them during the year. I hope to be able to visit every Indian on tho reservation at thoir home, discuss with them their problems, and to got better aocqualntcd v/ith them. Whon an individual Indian comes into my office for the second time I remember their face but I do not remember their name, for this reason it is my intention to spend the greater part of ray time tain the field thi3 summer visiting Indian homes.
