Shafroth, United States Senator from Colorado, has forwarded to thia Office a letter received from Mr. W. B. Frasex. Game and Fish Consnieaioner of that state, making complaint cf Indians cp -. who come from Utah into Colorado and kill deer there. ~j Enclosed herewith find copy of this letter, which is 3elf explanatory. The Indians of your reservation have no right to hunt in Colorado, without complying with the Gama Lavs of that state, aride you must prevent them from so doing. Should they continue to hunt in that state they are liable to arrest for breaking the Game Laws, even though they hava a permit from you. Thia matter must have ycur loused! ot a attention and you should advise the Indiana of your reservation as to their liability if they Insist on hunting out of the jurisdiction of you.: state, without complying with other state game laws. Advise the Office fully and promptly in regard to this matter.
