Show -A- II the state court at Vernal in September of this year, at which time he arranged for appraising damages to be assessed against the Dry Gulch irrigation Company, the Colorado Park Irrigation Company, and the V/hiterocks Irrigation Ccmyany, and in favor cf the Indians allottees affected, and at the same time arranged for the appraisal of damages in certain other cases in which condemnation proceedings are commenced for the enlargement of existing government canals rather than for the condemnation of or ig ina 1 r igh ts of -Aay. In these cases, pending in the state courts, we ha.ve found some difficulty in keeping satisfactory records in this office because of the failure of the clerics cf \he courts to notify us promptly of the filing of complaints, stipulations and decrees.
