Indian Agent, Uintah & Ouray Agency, Whiterocks, Utah. Sir: The Office has received a letter from Bishop Spalding, in which he say3 he has completed arrangements to open a Church School at Uintah for the instruction of Indian boya and girls, on August 15, 1908, with tha following staff: P.. T. Bonnin superintendent; Lacy II. Carter matron; Martin Hausznazm industrial teacher; C. G. Lescano farmer; Plorence H. Pairlamb primar:/ teacher; 706 Spruce St., Philadelphia, Penn.; Mrs. E. M. Molineux first teacher, 1229 Downing Ave., Denver, Colorado; E9len A. V/eston cook, 1300 Arch St., Philadelphia, Penn.; Belle ^arber seamstress;. Mrs. Byrdie D. Perkins assistant matron. Of these employees there are now on duty in their regular positions the superintendent, the industrial teacher, the farmer, and tho matron. Mrs. Porkins, who is to have tho position of assistant matron, is now temporarily employed as teacher, and Miss Belle Earner, who is to have the position of seamstress, is located at Whiterocks, Utah. It is assumed that Bi3hop Snalding will instruct the two teachers and the cook as to the |
