V^K, A- 7-Y77:-i ?r_^VS3 \ ••». \ y UNH__ SUIiS ,"' Referring to communication^ftrrrn yotn -Office, dated Tlay 27, 1907, "Land 59948,1907", in which notification was given me that the Secretary of the Interior had directed the Commissioner of the General land Office to take proper steps to protect 200 acres of land in the Forestry Reserve on the ^intah Reservation, described as the SU/A of the SY/A of Section 24, and the s/2 of the R/A of Section 22, _ 2 II, R 1 v7 , from entry by any save Indians, I desire to inform you that I em in receipt of information that Lir. J. L. Doyle is no?; in a way to complete his filing on a portion of this land as having been properly authorised by the Supervisor of the Uintah forestry Reserve to resume his operations on the land under the -omestead law. I am also informed that a portion of this land has been reserved by the forestry Bureau for the purpose of establishing a Rangers Head-quarters.
