Sir: Your letter (I.T.91025-1907, 91590-1908, File 339) of January 11, enclosing'a letter from the Agent at the Uinta and Ouray Agency, whiterocks, Utah, is received. I am very much gratified that Capt. Hall wishes to go on record as not making complaint against the Forest officers on the Uinta / National Forest, with/reference to the treatment of the Indians in securing the/ free use of timber. I have sent a copy of his letter to the 'Supervisor of the Uinta National ForeBt, and I am sure that the attitude expressed in the letter will be appreciated and fully understood.
