Show Captain C. G. Hall -2- turned. I am, however, at present unable to tell you how much the expenses in either caBe will be. From figures that have come in the Office we have estimated that for passenger transportation and for transporting their ponies the expense is about $1,000. Other expenses, yet unknown^may increase that amount. You understand, of course, that you will be furnished the figures just a6 soon as they are received here. In tho moanwhile, if it bocomcs nocoooary to pay the annuity of interest to those who remained on the reservation, that can be done without in any manner disarranging the plans for reimbursement by the wanderers, whose shares will as usual be entered on the roll though none is to be paid until you are further notified. Very respectfully, Commissioner. wV/McC(0) |
